Message from our Principal
Dear Saint Sebastian Family,
Affirmation of the Week: “I look back with gratitude, I look forward with hope, but I focus on where I am with love.” As we wrap up 2025 we want to be thankful for all the blessings we have received. Viewing even the challenges as opportunities of growth or new paths opening for us. Next, we look towards the future in the new year and visualize our goals and dreams. Carefully considering the details needed to reach such goals. Finally, we remember that we live in the moment. Having love in our hearts and expressing kindness to ourselves and others will bring meaning to it all. Go forward with gratitude, hope and love in your mind, spirit and actions.
Mr. Andrew Suk
Principal

Christmas Celebrations

The dinner is Pre-order based. Submit your order along with the payment to the office by Friday December 12th at the latest. We will not receive any more orders after that day. There will be limited extra meals for sale the day of the event on a first come, first serve basis.

Christmas Concert
This
year’s Christmas Concert is on December 17th at 5:00pm at Saint Sebastian Church. It is shaping up to be very nice! The classes are already practicing their songs. I’m sure it will be a very special evening! So save the date to come and enjoy their talent.
That day all aftercare students must be picked up at 4:30 pm (aftercare will end at 4:30) so you have time to change them and head out to the Church to be ready for the concert.
Dress code for each class:
PS2 – white top (shirt /blouse or sweater) / red bottoms
PS3 – dressy holiday attire in Christmas colors (red, green, white, gold or silver)
TK – red/black flannel shirt With black bottom and shoes
Kinder – dark green top/dress with black bottoms and black shoes
1st/2nd – white/cream top and brown pants and scar, warm tones
3rd/4th – black shoes or black sneakers, jeans, a Christmas sweater and a Christmas hat, (either a beanie or a Santa hat)
5th/6th – Christmas colors (red, green, or white) sweater, jeans, with Christmas accessories
7th/8th – white shirt/ light wash jeans, Angel Halo headband and black or white shoes.
Individual class celebrations
Each class will be celebrating before the break on December 19th. All students will be wearing PJ’s that day. Please get in touch with your room parents and/or teachers to see how you can make this day special for our students.
Remember that there will be no lunch service that day, early dismissal is at 12:00pm and there is no Aftercare service.
World’s Finest Chocolates
Our Chocolate Fundraiser is beginning! A box of chocolates will be sent home today. If your child is in aftercare, please make sure you get it from Mrs. Hillman when you pick up your child.
Each box is $60. The school receives $25 per box you sell and our goal this year is to raise $1,850! So the more boxes we sell, the better! This time we are doing it as an optional fundraiser. Everyone is invited to participate, even when it is not mandatory.
This is a great opportunity to complete your fundraising or volunteering commitment: YOU CHOOSE! Families can put what they sell towards their fundraising committment; or if you want to add them towards your 40 hour a year volunteering commitment you can get 2 hours per box you sell.
We will have a few more boxes available at the office if you’d like to sell more than one box of chocolates.
Fun before the break
