Pre-K to 8th Grade. Dual Language Immersion

Message from our Principal

Dear Saint Sebastian Family,

Affirmation of the week: “My future is shaped by the habits I repeat.” Great achievements are rarely built overnight. Instead, success, strong character, and faith formation are shaped by our daily routines. Reading fifteen minutes each night, starting the morning with quiet prayer, or choosing kindness on the playground may seem small on their own. Yet, repeated daily, these simple choices grow into lifelong discipline and integrity. We invite our families to partner with us at home by establishing consistent routines for homework and rest, focusing on daily effort over perfection, and discussing the positive habits your children are building each day.

Every small choice today lays the groundwork for who our students become tomorrow!

Mr. Andrew Suk
Principal

Jog-a-thon is coming!

The Jog-a-thon / Hop-a-thon is our first fundraising sporting event of the year. It is held on Thursday, October 8th. Children run (TK-8th Grades) or hop (Preschool) as many laps as they are able to in the playground.

This is the first of the four mandatory fundraisers that will count towards the $450 minimum Fundraising Commitment you signed when you enrolled. This means that all families must participate. Even if the student is absent, families must get donations.

What are parents supposed to do? Parents get sponsors who will pledge a donation towards their fundraising campaign. The purpose of this event is to fundraise as much as possible by running laps. So go around looking for people to become your children’s sponsors.

There are 2 ways to pledge: Flat rate donation or donation per lap

1. Flat Rate means that the sponsor will donate a specific amount regardless of how many laps the child runs.
2. Per Lap means that the sponsor will donate an amount depending on how many laps the child runs. This is, for example, if I pledge to donate $0.50 cents per each lap, and the student runs 50 laps, I will have to donate $25 total.

Timeline:

  • Starting today and until October 7th – Get as many pledges as possible.

  • Wednesday October 7th – BRING BACK YOUR PLEDGE FORMS. We need them to mark the total number of laps and the total amount to collect after they run.

  • Thursday, October 8th @7:30am – Volunteer to cut fruit in the morning and prep the cups for our Spartans!

  • Thursday, October 8th – Kids run in the morning and volunteers total the pledges in the sheets after the event.

  • Tuesday October 13th – School sends pledge forms back home so you can start collecting the pledged money.

  • Monday Ocotber 19th – Turn in collected money to school. You can bring cash, check, or Zelle*

*IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT ZELLE – If you are asking your sponsors to zelle money directly to the school, please make sure they include your child’s name on the message. Example: Jogathon – Juanito Perez 3rd
