Message from our Principal
Dear Saint Sebastian Family,
Affirmation of the week: “I am happy to be at St. Sebastian School.” Happiness is a feeling that I have on a daily basis here. It is a feeling that I have had for 14 years and a feeling that I hope to bring to all of our Spartans. St. Sebastian School is a special place filled with unique and wonderful people. Thank you all (faculty, staff, parents, students, friends, family, volunteers, supporters) for making the school what it is. We conclude another Catholic Schools Week and look towards finishing the year magnificently.
Mr. Andrew Suk
Principal
Please read the information below so you get the details for the activities we have planned for this upcoming month and save the dates!
Blood Drive on Sunday Feb 1st
In collaboration with the Los Angeles Red Cross, our Parish is organizing a blood donation campaign. Donating blood is a good social action and, at the same time, it is good for one’s health. Regular blood donation stimulates our cells and helps our body renew and cleanse our vascular system. We need 45 people to donate blood on Sunday, February 1, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in the school cafeteria. You must reserve your spot using the link below:

Bring your blankets and/or lawn chairs to to sit together in the yard and enjoy lunch with our Spartan family.Slizeria, a local pizza place new to the city of Sawtelle, will be delivering individual pizzas for those who order. Your purchase of a special heart-shaped pizza box for $15, will bring 40% of all proceeds directly back to the school.
You need to order your pizzas starting now and until February 6th to get them delivered to the school on time for the event.
Here is the link to order: https://square.link/u/ cQfLkG86
If you cannot join us for this event, you can still order pizzas for your children and they will be sharing the meal with their teacher and friends.
Share love with your classmates & teachers!
Student Council will be selling them after school during dismissal from February 2nd to the 12th. You write a little note to your friends, and the person you choose will get a surprise on Friday February 13th when our Student Council delivers the Grams.
You can buy as many as you want! They have different options to choose from. Parents can also secretly buy one for their own child. That would be an amazing surprise!
