Message from our Principal

Dear Saint Sebastian Family,

Affirmation of the Week: “I am an important part of this world.” Earth is vast and filled with billions of people. Everyone experiences the world in their unique way and we are constantly interacting with each other (ideally for the better). We are all loved, valued and a special part of the world. While we will never know just how far our influence will reach but the limits are endless. Be proud of who you are and work towards making our shared world a better place.

Mr. Suk

Principal

RSVP for Friendsgiving

Thanksgiving is a beautiful time to get together with your family to give thanks for all the blessings received in the year. A time to pray for the opportunity to be together one more year.

We want to invite you to our first Friendsgiving get together on Saturday November 23rd at 6:00pm to celebrate our Spartan Family. We’ll meet in the school yard after the special mass celebrated by Bishop Matthew Elshoff for the blessing of the new St Sebastian statue.

Student Council events

As we are helping our students to become socially conscious students, our Student Council will have a Thanksgiving Bake sale on November 20th during dismissal starting at 3:00pm. All donations from the bake sale will go to the Westside Food Pantry.

For the week of November 18th to the 21st, all students can wear free dress (no uniform), if they bring $1 or a canned good. These proceeds will go to our church pantry. The money and the canned goods will be given to their teachers as they arrive to class.

Picture Retake

Picture Retake Day is on November 22nd at 9:00 am. The Absent/Retake picture day is an event for students who missed the initial day, for students who aren’t happy with their original portraits, and for new students. For students who are requesting a retake, Pictures with Class requires that they bring in their proof booklet, so that their production lab may process the session as a retake. Picture with Class encourages parents to order online. They will share the information as we get closer to the date.
