Message from our Principal

Dear Saint Sebastian Family,

Affirmation of the week: “I will follow in the footsteps of saints and pass on the teachings of Jesus.”  Saints serve as spiritual guides and role models for believers. As Spartans, we strive to be like them in how we treat others and in the way we live out our lives. Just as Carlo Acutis has become the newest saint, we too can make a difference in the world. Guide your children to be models by modeling the behaviors and thoughts we want to see in them.

Mr. Suk
Principal

Please read the information below so you get the details for the activities we have planned for this upcoming month and save the dates!

All Saints Day Dress up

On All Saints’ Day, Catholics attend Mass, a holy day of obligation, to honor all saints and the communion of saints. Many also visit the graves of loved ones, light candles, and pray to saints for their intercession. At our school we will celebrate this day by dressing up as our favorite Saint. Ms. Valencia worked with the kids this week to learn and celebrate our Saints, maybe kids can dress up as the one that they liked the most!

Fall Festival is here!

This year we will do a different event: Harvest Festival. We’ll have lots of fun games and activities, as well as performances and vendors!

Start sharing the information and passing out the flyer to invite your extended family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, everyone!

See you on November 7th from 1:00 to 6:00pm!

IHOP Dine out Nov. 10th

Share with your friends and family! Let’s plan to get together as a class to go at a specific time! Wouldn’t it be fun? Maybe parents can go and have breakfast together while the kids are at school, or you can buy something to go for a non-cooking day on Veteran’s Day, o ¡lleve a la comadre al cafecito en la tarde!

Celebrate Veterans Day

Veterans Day is on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, and Los Angeles will host various events to honor veterans. Here are a few events in case you want to celebrate and honor them:
